Our Story

Zenith Advisors was founded by two people who've spent nearly a decade watching service business owners work themselves to exhaustion.

Daniel spent 9 years in the trades—starting as a labourer, moving through carpentry and plumbing, eventually managing operations and building automation systems that actually worked. Alex spent years in B2B marketing and sales, helping businesses get more leads, only to watch them struggle because their operations couldn't handle the growth.

We kept seeing the same pattern: good businesses, hardworking owners, but operations held together with duct tape and spreadsheets. Owners working 60-80 hour weeks juggling field work, bidding new jobs, managing their team, and drowning in admin tasks that never seem to end. Turning down profitable work because they were already overwhelmed.

We realized most business owners don't need another software subscription or generic business advice. They need someone who actually understands the trades, can diagnose what's broken, and will build solutions that fit their specific workflows.

Spent nearly a decade in the trades—labourer, carpenter, plumbing apprentice, project manager, and eventually executive administrator building operational systems.

Watched owners work 80-hour weeks because their admin processes were chaos. Built automation tools using Google Workspace and AppScript that actually worked with how trades businesses operate in the real world.

Now focuses on custom operational solutions for service businesses—everything from payroll automation to job costing tools to whatever else solves the problem.
